Where do I buy framed prints of London?
My USP, or “unique selling point,” is what distinguishes me from the many others offering similar work. Two key things set us apart from the people who appear on Google when you search for “black and white and colour prints on London.” First, my gallery embraces an old‑school approach: I shoot on film. While I have adopted digital tools where they’re useful, I truly understand film and the craft of making a print from it. That knowledge matters — shooting film makes me deliberate about every frame. When my camera is on a tripod the pace slows further and the process becomes thoughtful and considered. Take the print below as an example. It would be all too easy to adopt a scattergun approach with a digital camera and a massive memory card; with 36 exposures on a roll of film I take my time, think carefully about composition and light, and often spend a couple of evenings on a freezing bridge to capture the image I want. Every print on this website was shot on black and white or colour film and printed by hand here in my studio.
The second USP is the framing and the service I give you. The frames are made by hand and the prints are individually numbered, titled and signed. Now this isn’t dramatically different from other sellers, but I go further by offering a professional hanging service when you buy four or more prints. My professional hanging service is a valuable add-on, since some of the larger panoramics require careful handling on their journey to finally being displayed on your wall. I can also assist with curating a cohesive set of prints to hang together—whether it’s a collection of New York shots, a series of sunsets, or black and white views of Prague, we’ll help you compose the right arrangement. I understand what works in office corridors, boardrooms, reception areas and on stairways. So give me a call or use the contact page, and let me apply my distinct set of USPs to your office walls.
