Framed black and white prints of Shrewsbury.
Shrewsbury is a pretty market town north west of Birmingham in the county of Shropshire. The architecture is mix of beautiful half board black and white Tudor buildings rubbing shoulder tto shoulder with more modern architecture. Apart from the odd eyesore like the Market Hall building it’s a beautiful town. The Severn river loops around the town walls and connects with The English bridge and The Welsh bridge. Shrewsbury is a photographer’s dream and I’ve enjoyed making black and white prints and panoramics of it since 2016 when I first visited. I’ve used black and white film, ISO 100 for all of the black and white prints and Fuji Velvia ISO 64 for the prints in the colour gallery. The Quarry is an area on the edge of the town which I’ve photographed a lot throughout the seasons. The Bandstand particularly features in a lot of my prints and the Lime trees along the river have been great for framing the views of Shrewsbury Shool and the walk along the river. I use hand made black wooden frames for all of my work and if you prefer to use a frame of your choice I can supply the print in a mount ready to slip into your own frame.
I hope you enjoy this gallery of prints and I hope I meet you soon.
